Groundnut Chutney or Peanut Chutney Recipe
This protein rich peanut chutney is made regularly at home for breakfast like Ragi roti, Chapati, Wheat dosa, Wheat Parota, Ragi dosa. This is made without coconut and is thick, creamy and tastes delicious. There are so many ways for peanut chutney, I am sharing the one which i love most.
Peanuts are rich in energy (567 calories per 100 g) and contain health benefiting nutrients, minerals, antioxidants and vitamins that are essential for optimum health.
Groundnut Chutney or Peanut Chutney Recipe
Ingredients for peanut chutney:
- 100 grams roasted peanuts / groundnuts
- 100 grams big / small onions
- 3 - 4 green chillies
- Salt as needed
- 1/4/cup of water.
Instructions
- Add groundnut to a blender and grind it coarsely powder.
- Then add peeled big / small onions, green chillies, salt, and water and grind it to a smooth paste.
- If you want spicy chutney add more green chilies to your taste while grinding the chutney. Now Traditional style Ground nut chutney is READY to serve with Rotis..
